It’s a brand-new month and you know what that means! It’s officially the season of Dads, Grads and Bookish Fads. Okay, so I made that last part up.
As the days are starting to get longer and the weather warmer…for most of us, I always find myself thinking about some of the trends in the book world. For a while there it was vampire everything, doesn’t matter what genre the book was, there was a vampire…now, it’s the illustrated covers that are all the rage. I will follow along with the trends like most readers, it’s like just keep churning new releases out because my TBR list is entirely too manageable. Which at last count I think I have somewhere in the ballpark of 2,500 books sitting on my TBR—that’s still considered manageable right? Oops…there goes 2,501! And 2,502…
This month is always seen as the kickoff of the prime celebratory season, with graduations, Father’s Day right around the corner, and various neighborhood functions, so you may find yourself with a little less reading time than usual, so savor that downtime and settle in with a glass of iced tea, and a great read.
